Investigation on Segregation Granulation by Fuel and Flux in Coating

The metallurgical property of sinter is an important factor affecting the smooth operation blast furnaces (BF), because it has a great impact on permeability BF and solid fuel rate. In order to promote combustion mineralization flux in sintering process, eventually improve strength sintered ore, series investigation segregation granulation by coating were carried out, including pot experiments, morphology analysis, discussion combine with phase diagram. experimental results show that, (1) as CaO increased from 0% 40% coke breeze 100%, indices improved, tumble 65.8% 68.4%, rate qualified products 77.4% 81.0%, micro-strength 68.7% 75.9%. (2) There are three reasons for high coating, (a) complete release heat, (b) effective absorb heat flux, (c) improvement fluidity bonding phase. outcomes present work may provide new method ore give some reference better understanding process using actual operation.
